Cypress Creek Cougar Band

The Cypress Creek Cougar Band is a dynamic and dedicated group of student musicians who bring passion and energy to every performance. Since 1978, our band has been committed to musical excellence and fostering a love of music in our students. Led by the guidance of directors Kevin Wood, Aaron Kennell, and Christian Pitre, along with Color Guard director Madalyn Brown, we strive to develop each student’s talent.

Located at Cypress Creek High School in Cypress Fairbanks ISD, our band program offers students first-rate opportunities to grow both as musicians and individuals. We provide a comprehensive music education that emphasizes strong musicianship, discipline, teamwork, and community involvement. From marching at halftime shows to concert performances and competitions, our students showcase their skills and dedication throughout the year.

Our supportive community of sponsors, parents, alumni, and volunteers plays a vital role in our success, helping with everything from organizing events to providing meals and chaperoning trips. Together, we create an environment where students can thrive and create lasting memories.

The Cypress Creek Cougar Band celebrates a long-standing tradition and promising future, where music and community unite to create unforgettable experiences.
